And the WINNER IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are thrilled to announce that the highest bidder on the piece generously donated by the living Pop-art legend ROMERO BRITTO was Mrs. Eloise S. of New Jersey!

This 50x50 masterpiece, "The Rothschild Butterfly", was simply astounding to the winning bidder. She thanked the event planner, Marcinho, who secured the piece for the auction, for bringing such an important and vibrant piece to the auction!

"We got it!? We won!!" - Auction Winner

As the event planner went to their table to thank them for the winning bid, she gasped "We got it!? We won!!" We've never seen someone so
excited!

Congratulations Mrs. S.!!! Marcinho was thrilled that the piece
went to such a good artistic home and to such an avid collector of fine art.

Every cent of the sale (thousands of dollars) goes directly and completely to Sisters Network of Central New jersey!

Special thanks to Maestro Britto & April for providing this marvelous piece!

BRITTO A DONOR !

The world renowned artist, Romero Britto (britto.com) has graciously donated a signed, numbered, ornately framed LIMITED-EDITION lithograph of "The Rothschild Butterfly" to Promenade in Pink!!!!!

The piece also features a hand-painted fillet by the famed artist. The Promenade in Pink "Rothschild Butterfly" is described by the gallery as
"a framed signed serigraph with hand painted fillets. Print then linen mat then hand painted fillets then another linen mat (all black) with black frame. Approx dimensions = 50 X 50."

This 21st century Pop-Art Icon contributed a piece to a cancer benefit in NYC recently for which his contribution earned more than $35,000.00 for the charity.

His use of color and the colors he employs cannot help but to energize the viewer and lift their spirits, strength and hope!

How appropriate that this piece, full of motion and power; juice and simple yet complex viewability, has been selected especially for Promenade in Pink! By the artist, himself! These colors could be said to represent the powers of breast cancer survivors to be strong, heal themselves, believe in miracles and in themselves!

We are humbled and honored to have been granted such an amazing opportunity to raise enough funds to continue our mission effectively, efficiently and benevolently.

We give very special thanks to Maestro Britto and to April Bolet in Miami at Britto Central!

What an astounding gift! Thank you so very much!

About the Artist: Donald Hilliard, Jr.

“Religious leader Donald Hilliard, Jr. teaches and mentors many but now he has created an artistic body of work described as expressionistic abstract art that speaks to the mind and soul through his brilliant use of color and shapes that grabs your attention and creates a rare moment of introspection.”

A published author, lecturer, mentor and leader, Hilliard showed a love for art since he was a child. Several years ago his family framed an oil painting that his mother saved for over 30 years, since his teen years. Two years ago, while recovering from major surgery, his nurse offered him pen and paper in an effort to help him focus on something other than family, ministry and work. That one act became the impetus for what is now known as Divine Liturgy In Abstract™, which has grown to over 70 original works of art and still counting. His first public showing of his collection debuted in November 2005 where he was introduced by the famed fine artist, Alonzo Adams at the Sienna Visions Gallery. The Divine Liturgy In Abstract™ collection features such works as, Through It All, Stairway To Heaven, The Ties That Bind™ , and the signature piece, “Thank You”. The collection features original, one-of-a-kind paintings.

His collection, Divine Liturgy In Abstract is shown by appointment and at the new Vision Gallery located at 282 Madison Avenue in Perth Amboy, NJ. For more information, call 862-215-8459 or email pulpit2palette@yahoo.com.
